I secretly enjoy a bit of topiary clipping its relaxing to do, it makes me smile, it reminds me of my hairdressing days, travelling up to college in my old mini pick-up truck, who I named Timmy. My Dad restored him for me, he is a bit of a rev head (Dad, that is Timmy not so much, we generally had to bump start him most mornings). My hairdressing skills have stood me in good stead, not just for topiary, but also for earning some money on my travels... and even now, to trim my two boy’s hair, when I can catch them, that is!
