Inspired by the beautiful 17th century red brick country house mansion, Tredegar House, built by the Morgan family. I loved seeing it in all its splendour as I passed it on the on the school bus, daydreaming.

My mother went to school here when it was a convent. It is now a National Trust Property. She tells me stories, of her sisters and life at the house as a boarder, not forgetting of course the ghost stories of phantoms walking the halls. She has recently written a piece on her life at school here. I am so proud of her.
